The original DRAGON® sensor built a legacy of performance and dependability on major movie and TV shoots. Now, the
DSMC2 DRAGON-XTM 6K S35 delivers the same image quality as its predecessor along with the benefits of high frame rates
at 5K, blazing fast data speeds, and access to RED’s latest image processing pipeline (IPP2). In the spirit of “obsolescence
obsolete,” owners will have the ability to upgrade to other sensors in the DSMC2 family.

INTUITIVE WORKFLOW AND UNPARALLELED COMPRESSION
RED’s DSMC2 line of cameras offer a completely overhauled and enhanced image processing pipeline (IPP2). This new
image pipeline delivers on a host of benefits including better management of challenging colors, smoother highlight
roll-off and a standardized color space and gamma. RED also features a proprietary file format, which efficiently encodes
image data in a way that maximizes the post-production flexibility of RAW files and makes capturing higher resolutions
manageable for anyone.
